Excellent

Working with a lot of the feminine and masculine ideas with Jungian psychology this book does an excellent job of updating old ideas found in the Jungian framework. The author does an excellent job of exposing Jung's own biases throughout his complex, and seemingly contradicting ideas on the topic. I especially enjoyed the background of Jung's upbringing that showed how the Victorian era norms influenced him and his ideas, and shines a light on areas where Jung was blind to his own complexes. A critical addition to Jungian psychology that is rarely explored or written about in Jungian circles. An engrossing and satisfying read.

This a tremendously readable, user friendly survey of Junginan thought on the feminine. It has been incredibly helpful with my dissertation, as it has a wealth of information about other authors and their writings.
